In the first quarter of 2025, the top social networking apps on iOS in Europe demonstrated varied performance trends across weekly revenue, downloads, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Telegram Messenger experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at about $1.8M at the start of January before seeing a gradual decline to around $1.5M by the end of March. Weekly downloads started strong at approximately 464K, tapering off to 322K. The app maintained a high level of engagement, with weekly active users hovering around 65M.

Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat saw a notable increase in weekly revenue towards the end of February, reaching $1M. Downloads remained stable throughout the quarter, averaging around 18K weekly. Active users fluctuated but ended the quarter slightly higher, at about 637K.

Azar: Video Chat, Meet Friends exhibited a steady weekly revenue, closing the quarter with a high of approximately $834K. Downloads showed a positive trend, starting at 97K and ending at 78K. The app's active users fluctuated but remained robust at around 386K by the end of March.

Yubo: Make new friends recorded a peak in weekly revenue of $411K in late February. Downloads showed a downward trend from 43K to 30K, while active users increased to around 350K by the end of the quarter.

Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out showed a significant spike in revenue at the end of February, reaching $391K. Downloads gradually decreased from 228K to 156K, yet the app's active user base grew to approximately 14.2M, indicating strong user engagement.
